DMCA Notice and Takedown Policy

1. Filing a Notice of Infringement

Send your notice to our designated agent at the address below. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorized to act on their behalf
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (the exact URL on get-waifu.com)
• Your address, telephone number and email address
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

3. What We Do With a Valid Notice

We review every notice and remove or disable access to material we find to be infringing, usually within a few business days. We notify the account responsible for the material and give them the notice. Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. 512(g). It must contain all of the following:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the material removed and the location at which it appeared before removal
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address and telephone number
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district in which you reside, or of any judicial district in which Get Waifu may be found if you are outside the United States, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the notice

If we receive a valid counter-notification we forward it to the party who filed the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless that party notifies us that they have filed a court action.

5. Fictional Characters and AI-Generated Content

Every character on Get Waifu is a fictional AI persona, written and illustrated for this platform and depicted as an adult. Where a character is inspired by an existing work, it is an original interpretation and no artwork, text or asset is copied from the source. If you hold rights in a work and believe a character exceeds that line, tell us through the process above and we will review it.

6. Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
